Did anyone here go to the North Port Christmas parade? Wasn't half bad for their first time trying this at night.
It's the first parade I have not done in 3 years. For once, I just got to watch instead of doing a float. I couldn't beleive how many people were there. _________________

I was the same way. Last year, I was a judge for the parade and the year before that I was in it. This year, I actually just sat back with my friends and family and watched. My little brother crashed about halfway through it all. There was a large crowd this year. I think it was because of them changing it from morning to evening. Although, I wish it had been a little warmer out. _________________ "A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out." -Walter Winchell

Yeah, it's funny, I've been in all the parades since I moved here 3 years ago. Before that I'd never done a parade in my life.
Yeah it was chilly, but for someone like me from up north, it was refreshing. If not for those little cold snaps I'd never get into Christmas down here. It's really difficult. I just hope it gets cooler and grayer as Christmas approaches. It's one of the hardest things I've had to get used to down here.
Nice to see you Tiger. This place has been really scarce lately.

Thanks. I should be around a little more for the next two weeks thanks to Christmas break! I'm from up north myself, but cold is cold to me. Too bad we don't get snow, though. Oh well! That's Florida for you. _________________ "A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out." -Walter Winchell
